You travel between Delhi and Agra on one of the fast morning and evening express trains, which usually takes around two hours each way instead of the 3.5–4 hour drive. Our driver and a government-certified guide from our Agra team meet you on the platform at Agra Cantt station, and the whole day in Agra is private: the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, lunch and, time permitting, the Baby Taj.

Delhi to Agra and back by train
- Board your morning express train in Delhi. Trains such as the Gatimaan Express and Shatabdi Express run from Hazrat Nizamuddin or New Delhi station.
- Your guide and driver meet you at Agra Cantt station and take you straight to the Taj Mahal.
- Guided visit of the Taj Mahal, around 2–2.5 hours, with time for photos.

We do not book train tickets, hotels or flights. We help you choose suitable trains and plan the day around them; you book the tickets directly through the official Indian Railways (IRCTC) channels.
Good to Know
- The Taj Mahal is closed every Friday, and the Gatimaan Express does not run on Fridays either. Please choose any other day for this trip.
- Train timetables, stations and fares change from time to time. Check current times on the official IRCTC website or app before booking, and share your train numbers with us.
- Popular morning trains can sell out, especially from October to March. Book your tickets as early as you can once your date is fixed.
- In December and January, fog can delay trains between Delhi and Agra. We adjust the Agra itinerary around your actual arrival time.
- Only small bags, phones and cameras are allowed inside the Taj Mahal. Large luggage can stay in the car with your driver.
